| Maureen Brodie's passion for
photography began when she was a child and the only one to show up
with a camera at family gatherings. In college, at Indiana
University, she majored in Journalism and Broadcasting.
Through her studies at I.U. she came to appreciate how the true
essence of people could often be dramatically captured on film.
For many years she shot photos as an amateur, simply for the love
of creating striking images of different locations, friends and
family. When her daughters got involved in modeling, she had
the chance to observe several well known fashion photographers at
work and she made the decision to pursue photography as a
professional. To get started, she began working with
established and very talented photographers, learning from them and
gaining experience before launching Maureen Brodie Photography.
Now an accomplished professional in her own right, she is sought
after for wedding and event photography, family photography,
portraits and modeling composites. |
